US Navy, VF-126 'Bandits', USA c1989
The first of three F-16s in my collection is this Hasegawa F-16N Fighting Falcon. This is a well-known kit and goes together very well, and this example is straight from the box. No problems become apparent during construction and the kit decals are fine. The finish is Gunze Sangyo acrylics followed by Klear and an oil wash. The exhaust petals are painted with Humbrol Metalcote Polished Steel, which has a really great looking finish once buffed-up. This kit was built in the Summer of 1996.
